Hello everyone, I am working on a research project regarding HPF desulfurization of coke oven gas. Currently, in the coke oven gas desulfurization units of many coking plants, only PDS and hydroquinone are added, while ferrous sulfate is no longer used. Please send over the information regarding the addition of desulfurization agents in your respective factories’ desulfurization units, as well as the system operation metrics, so that I can compile them for comparison. Check the difference between those with iron added and those without, to see if it affects the two types of salts and the desulfurization efficiency.

Since the commissioning of our gas desulfurization system, not only has ferrous sulfate not been added, but hydroquinone has also not been added separately.

The desulfurization catalysts have been improved numerous times; currently, the 1# system uses a cobalt-titanium-cyano sulfonated series desulfurization catalyst, while the 2# system employs a complexed iron high-efficiency salt-inhibition catalyst, which has been in use for one and a half years.
