Although it is well known that the furnace lid needs to be opened to cool the furnace at the end of the carbonization stage, just before the product is taken out. However, regarding the root cause of furnace drying out, the experts I know have varying opinions. . . Dear experts, could you please let me know
What statements do all the experts need?
Coke with poor maturity is burned – this was the working method many years ago.
The coke oven is taken out of operation as planned; the rising pipe is opened 20–30 minutes before coke pushing, in order to check whether the raw gas drainage system is blocked and to clean it if necessary. Open the furnace lid of the coal loading port in advance to check the maturity of the coke cake and see if there is any blockage at the furnace opening. Another purpose of opening the furnace lid on the coke side is to introduce air into the carbonization chamber to burn off the graphite there.
