Is there a method for selecting ash water dispersants based on the quality of coal? It seems that currently, dispersants are only replaced by manufacturers after severe scaling occurs in the system, and it takes one or several operating cycles before their effectiveness can be seen. This approach is relatively passive; are there any relevant materials or methods that allow for the selection of appropriate dispersants in advance, based on the quality of coal or water?
Having the chemical manufacturers conduct comparative tests with different chemicals based on the water quality conditions will generally enable them to identify the appropriate chemical for their needs
Generally, the effect of dispersants can be observed within a month, with the wastewater heat exchangers showing the most noticeable impact.
