Something that couldn’t happen after the space furnace had been operating for a long time did occur

Since it went into operation in 2012, eight years have passed, and many unexpected things have happened. Let’s share some of those things that seemed impossible to occur during the production process but actually did happen. 1. The platform of the sedimentation tank collapsed, but not completely; fortunately, it was detected in time and reinforced. 2. The rake was removed from the sedimentation tank’s rake mechanism; this was caused by the breakage of the bolts connecting the reducer of the rake mechanism to the rake. 3. It’s a blockage in the conical part of the real steaming tank – it’s the conical part that’s blocked, not the liquid delivery pipeline; I never thought of that.
How come it wasn’t detected during normal shutdowns for maintenance?
Is it the top part used for sealing that causes the collapse of the sedimentation tank platform, or is it the platform on the side?； The sedimentation tank scraper has a torque limit – is it due to excessive torque or something else? Is it also a gravity flow to the sedimentation tank in your design? Is the conical shape caused by scaling or something else?
In the past, during maintenance of the coal water slurry system, this flash area would always be opened for inspection. Is it because the maintenance time for space heaters is short that these areas are not opened for inspection?
At the beginning of the design, only one of the two sets of furnaces was equipped with a high flash and true flash detector; later, another set was added, and there is a series butterfly valve in the vapor stream of the true flash detector – this valve broke down and could not be closed. . . So over these two years, the true flash system has never been serviced. . . .
Settling tanks, scrapers for settling tanks, and true flash are generally among the items inspected during shutdown maintenance; it seems rare for clogging to occur in the conical section after 2 years without any maintenance on the true flash system. Jin Kai Chemical’s space furnace has a coal feeding rate of 2,000 tons per day, and the reasons can be analyzed from an operational perspective.
There was only one when the sedimentation tank was designed, and there is still only one now. I’ve been driving for 12 years now without having it serviced at all.
I have also heard before about the phenomenon of bolts at the flange where the drive shaft connects to the lower mixing shaft breaking off, due to excessive operating torque – is there no protection for the material rake? The torque sensor is broken. I have a personal idea (not yet put into practice) to remove the deviation prevention device at the bottom of the sedimentation tank.
