I would like to know how many different processes exist for the atmospheric and vacuum distillation of coal tar. I’ve only found a little information – there’s the Lütgé process, the Cobbs process, and tar distillation with asphalt recycling – but the information available is quite brief and insufficient for conducting a process evaluation.
