Why has the amount of slag in the gasifier suddenly increased? Analysis of the cause?

One reason for the increased amount of ash is an increase in the ash content in the coal, or an excess amount brought in from other sources

Apart from the increase in ash content of the coal type, there are other reasons as well: 1. Is there any load adjustment? Increasing the load also leads to a larger amount of ash and slag ； 2. If the load has not been adjusted, then check whether there is any change in the amount of filter cake produced by the filter. If the amount of filter cake increases or remains unchanged, it means that the ash content of the coal has increased or the load has been adjusted. If the amount of filter cake decreases, then congratulations – the operating conditions of your feed coal in the combustion chamber have improved; the ratio of ash to slag has increased, with more coarse slag and less fine slag ； 3. Check again to see if the ash and slag removed by the slag extractor are normal. If they are normal as usual, then refer to the points mentioned above. If the ash is abnormal, and the proportion of fine particles in the slag extracted by the extractor increases significantly, without any adjustment to the load, then check the operation of your burners – there might be a problem with them, resulting in a poor atomization effect. Finally, check the burner pressure difference to see if there are any changes compared to before, and then make a judgment based on all these operational data.
