What are the factors that affect the methane content in gas?

Recently, we used a new type of water-coal slurry gasification technology; the carbon dioxide content was around 19.5%, the effective gas content ranged from 79 to 80%, and the methane content was between 2200 and 2500 PPM This differs greatly from the Texaco value for furnace bricks; I’m not sure why. Please advise, experts! ! !
There is a linear relationship between coal quality and the temperature of the gasification furnace; another significant influencing factor is also coal quality, as methane content in the raw gas varies depending on the age of the coal； Does this new type of water-coal slurry gasification use a water wall?

What do you mean by ‘new type’? What’s the new method? Our water-coal slurry methane is also 2000
May I ask the original poster, what are the respective proportions of CO and H2 in the effective gas?
Fine-tune the furnace pressure and temperature; high temperature and low pressure are favorable for the production of CO and H2, while low temperature and high pressure are favorable for the production of methane；
The water wall is used for heat dissipation, while the refractory bricks are used for heat storage. Under similar other conditions, the furnace temperature will definitely be higher with the use of refractory bricks; high temperatures facilitate carbon conversion and result in lower methane levels.
