Which type of gasification furnace currently results in the lowest level of CO2 in the exhaust gases? We don’t want to install a urea treatment system, so the carbon dioxide can only be released into the atmosphere. Thank you.
Less CO2 means less oxygen consumption; in my opinion, gasification technologies such as those used by Shell and Dongfang Boiler result in the lowest levels of oxygen consumption.
Dry coal powder gasification can use CO2 as the carrier gas to transport the coal powder; it is essential to have it.
There are relatively fewer dry powder gasification furnaces in fluidized bed systems
Reply to the original poster: The gasification products resulting from the partial oxidation of natural gas contain less carbon dioxide. Based on the material balance data, as long as there is a small amount of oxygen-containing carbon products, the amount of carbon dioxide available is insufficient to meet the requirements for urea production:D
Assume that the owner does not want to produce urea, and the product is: 1. Only synthetic ammonia? Then the carbon in the raw materials will necessarily be converted into carbon dioxide and released, as carbon does not end up in the product. 2. Co-produce methanol? Some carbon enters the product, and carbon dioxide emissions will decrease. 3. By analogy... the lowest level of carbon dioxide emissions is theoretically achieved by using only the energy necessary to drive the reaction, but this cannot be completely avoided.
