Review Meeting for the Multi-Nozzle Gasification Process Package of the Gasification Unit in Henan Shenma Hydrogen Chemistry’s Nylon Chemicals Production Project Held / Author/Source: Huahua Network – Coal Chemicals Industry / Date: 2021-01-20 / Clicks: 47. From January 15th to 17th, a review meeting was held for the multi-nozzle gasification process package of the gasification unit in Henan Shenma Hydrogen Chemistry Co., Ltd.’s hydrogen and ammonia production project related to the nylon chemicals industry. Henan Shenma Hydrogen Chemistry Co., Ltd., Yankuang Guotuo, East China University of Science and Technology, Saiding Engineering Co., Ltd., and invited experts attended the review meeting. The meeting reviewed the \"Multi-nozzle opposed water-coal slurry gasification unit (6.5 MPa) process software package (PDP)\” for the hydrogen and ammonia project supporting the nylon chemical industry at Henan Shenma Nylon Chemical Co., Ltd., which was provided by East China University of Science and Technology and Shandong Yankuang Guotuo Technology Engineering Co., Ltd. The process software package was developed on the basis of the design of projects of similar scale, incorporating optimized engineering designs and practical operation experience. The participants felt that the overall structure of the process software package was clear and complete, meeting the requirements specified in the contract for its development as well as those of engineering design. They discussed certain issues in detail and further clarified the next steps, thereby resulting in a meeting minutes document. On June 4-5, 2020, the kick-off meeting for the hydrogen and ammonia project intended to support the nylon chemical industry at Henan Shenma Nylon Chemical Co., Ltd. was held at Saiding Engineering, marking the official transition of the project from the decision-making stage to the implementation phase. The hydrogen and ammonia project supporting Henan Shenma’s nylon chemical industry has an annual ammonia production capacity of 600,000 tons per series; the investment planned for this project is 2.3 billion yuan. The project utilizes advanced 65-kilogram water-coal slurry gasification technology in place of fixed-bed gasification, along with isothermal shift reaction, low-temperature methanol washing for purification, and low-pressure ammonia synthesis. Gasification, purification, and synthesis are all technologies in which Saiding Company excels, and this project represents another practical application of such technologies in this field. The project is located in the Pingdingshan Nylon New Materials Industry Cluster in Ye County, Pingdingshan City. The production facilities include units for coal preparation, gasification, shift reaction and heat recovery, low-temperature methanol washing, liquid nitrogen washing, ammonia synthesis, sulfur recovery, PSA hydrogen production, air separation, as well as finished product storage areas. The utility and auxiliary facilities include a comprehensive building, a central laboratory, a central control room, substations, circulating water stations, desalinated water stations, sewage treatment facilities, deaeration stations, and chemical storage areas.
