To further increase the concentration of the coal slurry, the gasification plant held a special meeting to discuss the issue, and decided to adopt four measures to raise the slurry concentration and increase gas production, thereby helping to achieve new heights in system output. Activate all the return pipelines of the grinders, clean and clear the return pipelines of each grinder, and put them all into use. A mill is used to prepare large-particle coal slurry; three mills operate in reflux mode, while one mill operates without reflux, with its load increased appropriately and a large-hole drum screen replaced. One mill is used to recycle the coal slurry returning from other mills, while another mill, without being fed with coal, is used to recycle the coal slurry from those other mills in order to produce fine slurry. Optimize the ratio of grinding rods in the mill. Optimize the mixing ratio and arrange the rods reasonably for the grinding mill. Based on changes in the coal mill’s power consumption and variations in the particle size distribution of the coal slurry, the proportion of grinding rods is continuously optimized. Grinding rods are added periodically, and major overhauls of the mill are carried out to improve the particle size distribution. The current particle size distribution of the mill is of an “olive-shaped” type. By gradually moving towards a high-density packing pulping process and disrupting the existing particle size distribution, it is possible to shift this distribution toward a “dumbbell-shaped” form, thereby achieving high-density packing and improving the concentration of the coal slurry. In line with these measures, work such as readjusting the composition of the grinding rods in the gasification plant and adding more fillers to tighten the bolts of the grinders is being carried out in an orderly manner. As these measures are implemented, the goal of further increasing the concentration of the coal slurry and thus achieving new heights in system output is expected to become a reality soon.
