True flash into clarification tank black water pH

The pH value of the black water entering the clarifier is really high. Has anyone conducted any analysis on this?
We are adjusting the pH of the water in the clarification tank. The quick-connect port used for flushing, which is located on the black water pipeline leading into the clarification tank, is situated near the bottom of the zone where negative pressure exists; it’s difficult to access that area
The water here should be alkaline; after flash evaporation, acidic gases and the like are evaporated away
