Recently, the technical renovation project aimed at concentrating coal slurry and reducing consumption while improving efficiency in the gas generation unit of Wanhua Chemical (Fujian) Co., Ltd. was successfully accepted. This allows for precise control over the back-mixing ratio of fine and ultra-fine slurries, thereby optimizing the particle size distribution of the final coal slurry. As a result, high-quality CWS is produced for use in gasifiers. The technical upgrade project subject to this acceptance was successfully commissioned for the first time on January 5, and passed the 72-hour performance test on March 24. During this period, the unit operated continuously and stably; under the same raw material conditions, the coal slurry concentration increased by about 3 percentage points, while when non-coal raw materials such as tar were used, the concentration increased by about 2.6 percentage points.   This technological upgrade has effectively expanded the range of raw coal options available to Wanhua (Fujian). The high-quality coal slurry produced has successfully been adapted to two types of gasification units, enabling flexible adaptation and stable supply under complex operating conditions. After preliminary tuning, the effective gas ratio of the four-nozzle gasifier increased by more than 1.5 percentage points.
