During concrete pouring, project personnel supervise on-site to ensure the quality of pouring and vibration. All project staff arrive at work at 7:40, continue working after lunch, and do not return home to rest until 9 p.m. Everyone is working very hard to ensure the project’s construction schedule and quality. ”Zhang Chao, the assistant to the company’s general manager, explained. At present, the civil construction work for the main equipment of the park project has been fully completed, creating the conditions necessary for equipment installation. The civil construction work for associated projects such as the coal storage and transportation silo project, the coal transportation trestle and coal unloading system, the supporting water treatment plant, and the supporting sewage treatment facility is in full swing; it is expected that all civil construction will be completed by the end of November, creating the conditions necessary for equipment installation. 90% of the stationary and operating equipment for the project has arrived; the equipment for the purification unit is expected to be fully delivered by September 20. The equipment needed for an annual production capacity of 260,000 tons of styrene is being delivered in stages, with full delivery expected by mid-November. Regarding equipment installation, the installation of equipment and piping within the cold boxes of the project’s associated production sections has been completed, with pressure testing to take place in September. All outdoor equipment has also been installed, and piping work for the outdoor equipment is currently in progress. Indoor equipment such as air compressors, boosters, and steam turbines is currently being installed ； Installation of the two individual boilers in the boiler section, each capable of producing 260 tons of steam per hour, has been completed. The hydrostatic testing has been finished, and work on constructing the boilers is now in progress. Work is underway on the electro-bag dust removal systems, flue gas desulfurization units, chimneys, ash storage facilities, and other components required for the boiler; piping installation is progressing in an orderly manner, and electrical and instrumentation installations have been fully commenced ； All the static and moving equipment required for the gas processing section has been delivered and installed. The installation team is currently carrying out pipeline prefabrication work. The completion of the steel structure is expected around September 20th, after which the structure will be divided vertically into upper and lower sections so that overall construction can proceed ； The equipment for changing positions in the purification section has arrived in full, and 90% of it is already in place; pipeline prefabrication work is currently underway ； All the main equipment for the low-temperature methanol washing unit has been installed, and pipeline prefabrication is currently in progress. Equipment from other sections is also arriving and being installed one after another, creating a busy atmosphere at the site. This project is the first one in the Fuyang Coal-based New Materials Industrial Park, and it represents an important step in Anhui Haoyuan Company’s transformation toward producing higher-quality fertilizers on a larger scale. With a total investment of 3.78 billion yuan, construction began on August 19, 2016; operations were scheduled to start in April 2018. By then, the company is expected to generate annual sales revenue of 4 billion yuan and profits and taxes amounting to 420 million yuan, thus achieving a significant upgrade in its operations. This project is part of the upgrading and transformation initiative for traditional industries; once operational, it will produce 260,000 tons per year of styrene, 60,000 tons per year of epoxyethane, and 300,000 tons per year of MTO. It is understood that the Anhui Province Fuyang Coal-based New Materials Industrial Park is located in Kouzi Town, Yingdong District. It is one of the key projects under construction in Fuyang City, and serves as an important platform for promoting the rapid development of the city’s chemical industry as a key sector.
