According to Inner Mongolia Zhongtian Hechuang, in 2025, the company’s production and sales volumes of key products such as MTO-grade methanol and polyolefins reached record levels. Of this, 4.41 million tons of MTO-grade methanol was produced (as of 6:00 on December 25, 2025), achieving 100.68% of the annual production target. By 2025, the average annual operating cycle of the gasification furnace will reach 83.28 days, with the number of maintenance sessions dropping to 19, a 30% decrease compared to the previous year ； The average service life of the burners has increased to 85.55 days, an increase of 14.31 days compared to the previous year; the longest operating cycle has exceeded 139 days. The number of maintenance operations has dropped to 49, a decrease of 26% on a year-on-year basis. Multiple indicators have reached their best levels ever. The purification and synthesis units adjusted the hydrogen-to-carbon ratio in a timely manner, reducing the consumption of synthesis gas per ton of methanol produced. Measures were taken to minimize losses due to the venting of synthesis gas, resulting in a 0.025-ton/t decrease in coal consumption for producing pure methanol, as well as a 24.3 kgce/t reduction in overall energy consumption. The effective gas content from gasification increased by 0.65% on a year-on-year basis, while the consumption of coal slurry additives dropped to 1.49 g/t – all of which represent the best levels recorded in the past three years. The energy consumption per unit of coal-derived olefins decreased by 3.52% on a year-on-year basis, while the water consumption per ton of coal-derived olefins dropped by 13.42%, achieving the best levels in history. The new polyethylene resin grade LD6000 has successfully undergone industrial pilot production, with its various performance indicators reaching international advanced levels; it fills the market gap for high-end, customized ultra-fine fiber products in China. The recycling rate of industrial wastewater remains above 98%, keeping it at the leading level in the industry. The 7,000 tons/year hydrogen recovery project was completed on November 25. Zhongtian Hechuang uses GE coal-water slurry gasification, Linde low-temperature methanol washing, and Lurgi methanol synthesis technology to produce 3.6 million tons of methanol per year, while Sinopec’s SMTO technology is used to produce 1.37 million tons of polyolefins.
