Construction of auxiliary facilities for Fuhua Gas’ large-scale coal gasification project commenced successfully / Author/Source: Date: 2019-05-21 Clicks: 19 On May 16, after thorough preparation, the construction of the auxiliary facilities for Fuhua Gas’ large-scale coal gasification project, located in the Jiangyin Industrial Zone of Fuqing City, Fuzhou Province, officially started at 9:58 a.m., marking the beginning of construction in this area. The developer of this project is Fujian Fuhua Tianchen Gas Co., Ltd. The land area allocated for the project is 543.75 mu. The main product of this project is 444,700 tons per year of liquid ammonia; in addition, it produces 40,000 Nm3/h of hydrogen gas and 20,000 Nm3/h of carbon monoxide gas. The total investment for the project is 2.85 billion yuan, with our company and Hualu Technology, two engineering firms, undertaking the EPC general contracting work respectively. The total value of our company’s EPC contract is approximately 745 million yuan. The construction scope is divided into three areas: purification, synthesis, and auxiliary facilities. The construction work for the auxiliary facilities is carried out by our company itself, and it includes 8 individual construction units. The planned duration for this construction is 10 months. This utility project is the first one undertaken by the Engineering Construction Division of Donghua Company since its establishment. As a new department within the company, the Engineering Construction Division is responsible for various tasks related to the company’s transformation, upgrading, and progress. To ensure a successful start, the company’s and departmental leaders attached great importance to this matter and made advance plans; the labor subcontractors were selected through bidding at the company headquarters ； After the Spring Festival in 2019, the construction project team arrived at the site in advance. By focusing on refined management, relying on standardized construction practices, and emphasizing cost control, they conducted thorough investigations into the local market. They strictly followed the procedures for purchasing and price comparison, and established and improved the relevant work processes throughout the project implementation phase. In accordance with the requirements of China National Chemical Engineering Group Co., Ltd.’s \"Standards for Temporary Facilities at Construction Sites\" and \"Standards for Safety Protection Facilities at Construction Sites\", the preliminary work such as the construction of temporary facilities and safety protection measures was completed. This helped to establish the brand image of China National Chemical and Donghua Technology, while also laying a solid foundation for the full-scale commencement of the construction work.
