The latest progress of China Wuhuan General Contract Coal Chemical Project. Recently, as a 4,000-ton crawler crane smoothly placed and accurately fixed the last ultra-large tower (conversion gas scrubber), it was built by China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Chemical Engineering. The first set of low-temperature methanol washing equipment with fully independent large-scale domestic technology in China - the low-temperature methanol washing equipment of the Shenhua Baotou coal-to-olefins upgrade demonstration project - the large-scale hoisting work of the 4,000-ton crawler crane was successfully completed, laying a solid foundation for the project to be handed over. This 4,000-ton crawler crane hoisting operation was completed on May 20 from April 25 when the lifting conditions were met. It lasted 26 days and successfully completed the H₂S concentrator (512 tons), CO₂ Four core super-large towers, desorption tower/nitrogen stripping tower (520 tons), unconverted gas scrubber (318 tons), and shifted gas scrubber (1296 tons), are hoisted. The whole process is safe, efficient, and accurately controlled. In order to ensure that the hoisting task is foolproof, the project team adheres to scientific co-ordination and precise policy implementation, carefully prepares the hoisting plan in the early stage, and innovatively adopts the advanced technology of integrated ground prefabrication and "wearing and wearing hats" overall hoisting to simultaneously achieve "tower light up", significantly reducing the risk of high-altitude operations, significantly improving construction efficiency and project quality, and providing a strong guarantee for the efficient and successful completion of this large-scale hoisting. The Shenhua Baotou coal-to-olefins upgrade demonstration project plans to use coal as raw material, gasification in a Colin furnace, transformation, low-temperature methanol washing, and methanol synthesis to produce 2 million tons/year of methanol and 750,000 tons/year of polyolefins. And through simultaneous planning and construction with new energy, we can achieve the deeply coupled development of coal chemical industry, green electricity, green hydrogen and green oxygen. The total investment of the project is 17.15 billion yuan. This project is also a typical upgrade demonstration project selected for the "million-ton coal-to-olefin full-process domestic production line". The project uses a pulverized coal gasifier with a daily coal input capacity of 2,000 tons per furnace jointly developed by Kelin Energy Company and China Shenhua Coal-to-Liquid Chemical Company. This technology not only has completely independent intellectual property rights, but also creates a new model of collaborative innovation in the industrial chain. In addition, the project also conducted the first test of coal chemical wastewater accompanying the pulverized coal gasification process, which is of pioneering significance for the high-end, diversified, and low-carbon development of modern coal chemical industry.
