Established in 2004, its current main projects include 2.4 million tons of coal washing capacity, 960,000 tons per year of coking capacity (2×72-chamber sC43-98 type coke ovens with a chamber height of 4.3 meters), and 800,000 tons per year of coking capacity (2×60-chamber JNDK43-99D type coke ovens with a chamber height of 4.3 meters). The facility also includes associated chemical production processes, desulfurization liquid salt production, and land reclamation activities. Part of the coke oven gas is used internally, while the remaining gas is supplied to Shanxi Huaxin Fertilizer Co., Ltd. for the production of synthetic ammonia, nitric acid, and nitro-based fertilizers. http://img.yf116.cn/image/img/20210223/1141214208140.jpg This technical upgrade project is carried out within the existing facility in the coal and coke chemical industry zone of the development area. Through industrial upgrading, the largest ramming coke ovens in China are employed (with a carbonization chamber height of 6.78 meters), thereby extending the coke production chain. Through the \"upgrade large units and downsize small ones\" approach, an 1.8 million tons per year solid-state coking plant (with carbonization chamber height of 6.78 meters) along with associated gas purification facilities are to be constructed; once completed, the existing 0.96 million tons per year coking plant (with carbonization chamber height of 430 meters) and its related chemical processing units will be demolished. The construction of the 1.8 million tons per year coking and chemical new materials project by Shanxi Huaxin Coal Coking Industry Group Co., Ltd. is divided into two phases: Phase I involves the construction of JNDX3-6.78 ramming coke ovens, along with supporting facilities for coal preparation, coke processing, dry quenching of coke, and gas purification; Phase II entails the construction of a 100,000 tons per year nylon 6 production facility and a 1,500 tons per year asphalt-based composite carbon fiber material production facility. The main construction components in Phase 1 include coal preparation, coking, quenching of coke, coke treatment, gas purification, and auxiliary systems. This project retains the existing coal washing facilities, desulfurization liquid salt extraction systems, as well as the land reclamation processes and related equipment. For the comprehensive utilization of residual gas, nitrogen will be utilized, with support from Shanxi Huaxin Fertilizer Co., Ltd.; the deep processing of coal tar will be carried out by the coal tar processing enterprises located within the development zone. Crude benzene will be sold directly, while railway transportation will make use of the railway freight station to be built in the development zone.
