Civil works for the flare system at the Datang Fuxin Coal-to-Natural Gas Synthesis Center – Completion of construction tasks/Source: Yaha Coal Chemicals Date: 2019-08-02 Clicks: 8 On July 17, following the completion of the construction tasks for Unit A of the purification facility at the synthesis center, good news came again regarding the flare system: the civil works such as the cabinet operation room and gas cylinder storage area were completed to high standards, marking another significant step forward in achieving the project’s goals of high quality and efficiency. The central torch is one of the key components of the purification system; it burns the toxic and harmful gases generated in the gasification and synthesis stages (such as syngas, ammonia torch gas, acidic gases, etc.) before releasing them into the atmosphere, thereby preventing the release of such toxic and harmful substances into the air and avoiding environmental contamination. In order to achieve the delivery targets for each unit as soon as possible, the Synthesis Center organized its staff to carry out activities such as the \"three inspections and four determinations\" during the unit construction period. They monitored the progress of rectifying any remaining issues by the construction party, removed obstacles to the unit’s commissioning, and carefully prepared commissioning plans, including schedules and diagrams for individual tests and joint tests, thereby creating the conditions necessary for the subsequent commissioning of the units. At present, the synthesis project team is stepping up its efforts to urge all participating units to continuously strengthen safety and quality control, accelerate the rectification of outstanding issues at CCCC, and actively provide start-up support to ensure the safe and smooth operation of the facility.
