From November 11 to 22, the review meeting for the ethylene glycol process package of Inner Mongolia Jutai New Materials’ project to produce 1 million tons of coal-based ethylene glycol per year was held at Davy’s headquarters in London and its R&D center in Stockton, UK. Technical personnel from Hualu Technology, Davy Company, and the New Materials Company attended the meeting. During the two-week review session, discussions were held on various technical aspects such as equipment, general layout plans, 3D models of the hydrogen carboxylation high-pressure pipelines, instrumentation and control systems, electrical systems, and process flows. The technical issues faced by the ethylene glycol plant were discussed one by one, and meeting minutes were prepared, which provided a solid foundation for the design of the plant and the ordering of equipment.
