Clicks: 13. The company’s production facilities consume approximately 3,800 tons of coal per day, with Xiwan coal accounting for the majority of this amount. Due to the large particle size of the coal, it does not meet the requirements for coal suitable for use in the facility. Moreover, the crushing of lump coal generates a significant amount of dust, resulting in high dust concentrations in the coal storage area. As temperatures rise, this poses certain safety risks. In response to the above issues, recently the company’s Production Technology Department and Materials and Equipment Department, together with the relevant departments of Yulin Coal Chemical Company and Yushen Company, held a special discussion with the staff at Xiwan Coal Mine. During the discussion, the relevant personnel from the coal mine provided detailed information on the mine’s production processes. The mine authorities stated that the large size of the coal particles is determined by the production process; although the conditions for further crushing are not currently available, improvements can be made in several ways. One such approach is to enhance the sorting process in order to reduce the proportion of lump coal in the slime coal ; Second, strictly manage position reduction ; Third, carry out technical upgrades in a timely manner to add washing and sorting processes. After discussion, both parties reached an agreement: first, coal-using enterprises should strengthen management of the crushing process and formulate scientific dust-reduction measures based on actual conditions ; Secondly, from a long-term perspective, Yulin Coal Chemical Company, Kaiyue Coal Chemical Company, and Yushen Company should cooperate to find the best method of crushing. It is believed that through scientific management and dust control measures, it will not only ensure the smooth passage of the summer for the facility, but also guarantee production safety, stable output from the facility, and controllable costs.
