Progress on the Completion Works for the Phase 1 Startup Project of Shaanxi Yanchang China Coal Yulin Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. The pipeline installation for all system projects at the facility, which is under the general contract of Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., is 74% complete. To date, the systems engineering phase of this project has completed the installation of 350,000 inches of piping, accounting for approximately 74% of the total of 470,000 inches. Among them, nearly 90% of the R pipe gallery and S pipe gallery in the new plant site have been completed ； 66% of the T-pipelines in the old plant area have been completed, 93% of the U-pipelines, and 80% of the V-pipelines. Meanwhile, 34% of the most challenging W-tube corridors have been completed, and 37% of the renovated corridors have been finished. The methanol synthesis cycle compressor arrived at the site on December 6. The long-cycle equipment, namely the methanol synthesis cycle compressor, for Yueneng Chemical’s site completion project was successfully delivered to the project site, playing a positive role in advancing the construction of the methanol plant. To ensure that the methanol synthesis cycle compressor is delivered to the project site on time, the Materials Procurement Department of Yueneng Chemical monitors weekly reports on the production progress of such long-term delivery equipment as well as weekly reports on the supervision of production; should any signs of delays in production be detected, immediate action is taken to investigate and communicate regarding the situation ； At the same time, pressure was exerted on the manufacturer via phone and email, and personnel were dispatched promptly to the manufacturing plant in Italy for on-site follow-up to ensure that the methanol synthesis cycle compressor was shipped ahead of schedule. Overall goal of the installation campaign for the completion and improvement works of Phase 1 of Shaanxi Yanchang China Coal Yulin Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. project (Yanchang Jingbian Phase 2 project): Completion of steel structure installation ； 80% of equipment installation completed ； 70% of pipeline installation completed ； Cable laying is basically complete ； The air separation unit and auxiliary facilities are generally ready for commissioning ； The regulation reservoir and Jjinjisa water supply improvement project have been basically completed. Ensure the successful achievement of all annual construction goals. The completion and improvement project for the first phase of Shaanxi Yanchang China Coal Yulin Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. (Yanchang Jingbian Phase II project) involves an investment of 14.413 billion yuan. Using coal and natural gas as raw materials, this project aims to build an integrated facility capable of producing 1.8 million tons per year of methanol, 600,000 tons per year of methanol-to-olefins products, 400,000 tons per year of polypropylene, and 300,000 tons per year of low-density polyethylene/ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (LDPE/EVA). The project is scheduled to be put into operation in the second half of 2020.
