Status of Resuming Work on Zhonghe Gasification Projects Author/Source: Zhonghe Gasification Date: 2020-04-17 Clicks: 66 As of April 14, all projects under Zhonghe Gasification had resumed work in accordance with the epidemic prevention and control requirements of their respective locations. With comprehensive safety measures in place and effective management systems, the construction of these projects is progressing smoothly. Guizhou Hongsheng Synthetic Ammonia Fixed-Bed Gas Generation Unit Renovation Project: This is a coal-based synthetic gas project aimed at upgrading the synthetic ammonia gas generation unit. It involves two gasification units, each with a capacity of 60,000 Nm3/h. Once completed, this project will significantly increase the level of automation in the gasification process, help reduce energy consumption and emissions, and meet the existing demands for synthetic ammonia production. The project team resumed work on April 8. After resuming operations, the project staff actively coordinated with various parties, and thanks to the efficient cooperation and joint efforts of all involved, power was supplied officially on April 13. After power was supplied, all system devices operated normally with accurate parameters, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent system debugging. The Hongsheng project is scheduled to carry out high-temperature furnace drying and system debugging work in the latter part of this month. Xinjiang Yihua Gasification Unit Project: This is a coal-based syngas project aimed at upgrading the ammonia synthesis section, involving 3 circular fluidized bed gasifiers, each with a capacity of 60,000 Nm3/h. The project team resumed work on April 8 and has entered the final commissioning phase. Currently, the final pipeline construction work is underway, along with pipeline purging, pressure testing, cleaning, inspection of internal equipment components, and system testing – all of which are progressing as planned. The project is now on the countdown to operation. Huiran Industrial Gas Station Air Preheater Renovation Project: This is a customized retrofit project for circulating fluidized bed gasification, aimed at improving the thermal efficiency and gasification efficiency of the existing gasification unit. The project team started work at the end of March; currently, the hot/cold air pipes of the gasifier have been removed, and the prefabrication and installation of new piping components have begun ； The air preheater is being removed ； The steel structure has entered the pre-assembly phase ； The construction of refractory materials has been fully underway. All tasks are being carried out in an orderly manner with the cooperation of the owner and various units. Xiamen Xiangsheng Circulating Fluidized Bed Oxygen-enriched Coal Gasification Project: This project is located in Kendari, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. It involves the construction of a gas station for an integrated stainless steel smelting plant with an annual production capacity of 2.5 million tons; the plant will feature 8 gasification units, each with a capacity of 80,000 Nm3/h. The project did not halt operations during the Spring Festival or the pandemic, but the project team still implemented strict prevention and control measures in accordance with the \"Zhonghe Gasification Project Pandemic Prevention and Control Plan\". At present, the installation of the main equipment for Units 1 and 2, which are to be delivered in the first phase, has been largely completed, and pipeline installation is currently underway. It is expected that the construction of Reactor No. 1 will be completed by the end of this month.
