Shandong Xinfa Group signed an EPC general contracting cooperation agreement for the Shenmu Shenxin Circular Economy Industry Demonstration Park project. On September 4, Shandong Xinfa Group and Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group signed the EPC general contracting cooperation agreement for the Shenmu Shenxin Circular Economy Industry Demonstration Park project in Xi’an. In June this year, Xinfa Group and Shaanxi Construction Engineering signed a “Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement”. The signing of this EPC general contracting agreement for the project is a testament to the deepening of the strategic cooperative relationship between the two parties. Both parties will fully leverage Xinfa Group’s professional expertise in the circular economy industry, as well as Shaanxi Construction Engineering’s local resource advantages within Shaanxi Province and its comprehensive capabilities in engineering contracting, to jointly build the Circular Economy Industry Demonstration Park project of Shenmu Shenxin New Materials Co., Ltd. The project is located in the High-Tech Industrial Park of Shenmu City, Yulin. It is planned to cover an area of 4,150 mu. The main components of Phase I of the project include: high-efficiency ultra-supercritical air-cooled thermal power units; high-performance resins and related projects; a project for producing ethylene glycol from off-gas generated by calcium carbide furnaces; clean acetylene gas and related projects; as well as projects related to the quality-based and efficient utilization of coal and their supporting equipment. On September 7, the Xi’an Branch of Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group, held a project progress meeting to make arrangements regarding the advancement of the BDo and related projects for Shenmu Shenxin New Materials Co., Ltd. The meeting presented a report on the feasibility study of the project. Xu Jiantao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Beiyou Engineering Company, emphasized the great significance of this project for the group company and Beiyou Engineering, calling on relevant personnel to attach great importance to it and cooperate actively to ensure its smooth progress. The project team leader gave a detailed report on the project status, product plan, technical and economic indicators, and energy consumption indicators. Xu Jiantao put forward two requirements for the next steps of work: First, the project team must carefully review the product plan and process route, selecting the best options from among them. They must also verify all indicators and data within the process package to ensure “zero deviations.” Second, in light of **industrial policies and the characteristics of Xinfa Group, efforts should be focused on optimizing energy conservation measures, alkali discharge control, engineering automation, and dust-free workshops, so as to comply with **new carbon emission policies and environmental protection requirements.
