Construction begins on Inner Mongolia Jutai’s high-concentration brine zero-discharge project / Author/Source: Inner Mongolia Jutai Date: 2020-03-19 Clicks: 73 On March 18, a visit to the project site revealed colorful flags and construction machinery ready for use. Duan Yongsheng, the company’s deputy general manager, announced that the zero-discharge project for high-concentration brine has officially commenced! At the scene, Xu Hui, the company’s deputy general manager, along with representatives from the relevant project teams as well as the construction and supervision units, a total of over 60 people, were present to witness this moment. As a new-type coal chemical enterprise, Jutai has always regarded \"safety and environmental protection\" as the lifeline of its development. The high-concentration brine zero-discharge project, for which construction has begun, has a total planned investment of 330 million yuan. It employs a process that includes pretreatment, pre-salt separation, membrane concentration, and selective crystallization, with a treatment capacity of 200 m3/h. The project includes zero-discharge equipment as well as associated facilities; the entire process is expected to be operational by the end of 2020. The final outputs of this system are recycled water and crystallized salt. Representative of the general construction contractor: Wang Jingzhan, Executive Manager of Shaanxi Huajian Engineering Co., Ltd. Representative of the project’s general contractor: Xu Xiongbin, Project Manager of Shenzhen Energy Resources Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd. Representative of the supervision agency: Liu Hongcai, Chief Supervision Engineer of Shandong Haohua Engineering Management Co., Ltd. The Jutai high-concentration brine zero-discharge project is a key environmental protection project at both the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Ordos city levels. The company will actively coordinate and organize all participating units; while ensuring that epidemic prevention and control measures are properly implemented, it will strictly adhere to various safety management regulations, focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining quality, strive to create high-quality projects, and contribute to the sustainable development of the ecological environment in the Yellow River basin as well as the high-quality growth of the local economy!
“The “pre-treatment + pre-desalination + membrane concentration + selective crystallization” process suffers from a very significant reduction in the efficiency of membrane concentration, which will result in high operating costs for the membranes in the future.
