Shanxi Coking Holds Foundation-Laying Ceremony for Phase 1 of the Jiexiu Carbon Materials Industrial Park Transformation Project Author/Source: Shanxi Energy and Chemicals Date: 2020-07-02 Clicks: 12 On July 1, the foundation-laying ceremony for Phase 1 of the Jiexiu Carbon Materials Industrial Park transformation project carried out by Shanxi Coking was held at the Longyuan Park in Jiexiu. Those who attended the foundation-laying ceremony included Yang Qingmin, vice general manager of Shanxi Coking Coal Group; Yang Shihong, secretary of the Party committee and chairman of Shanxi Coking Group; and Liu Shizhong, general manager ； Wang Jianzhong, Secretary of the Jinzhong Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor; Zhang Peng, Secretary of the Jiexiu Municipal Party Committee; Fan Liangzhen, Deputy Secretary and Mayor; as well as responsible officials from relevant local departments. This project is a pilot initiative by Shanxi Coking Coal in response to the provincial party committee’s overall strategy and requirements of \"four focuses, four highs, and two synchronizations\", as well as Xin Jiuemei’s goal of establishing world-class coking enterprises with global competitiveness. It represents Shanxi Coking Coal’s bold innovations in terms of investment models, cooperation models, business models, and management approaches, as well as its deep integration of reform measures. Shanxi Coke will, in accordance with the various decisions and requirements put forward by Shanxi Coking Coal regarding ecological and environmental protection as well as industrial transformation and upgrading, and with the strong support of all relevant parties, leverage the existing industrial policies and resource advantages to turn this project into a model industrial park that is characterized by high-end development, intelligence, sustainability, and integrated operations. It will serve as an example of a mixed-ownership enterprise that combines the strengths of different stakeholders, thereby making greater contributions to the high-quality development of Shanxi Coking Coal – with the goal of creating world-class coking coal and coking enterprises that possess global competitiveness.
