The last large-scale piece of equipment for the purification and CO separation units in Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical Co., Ltd.’s industrial gas island was recently installed in place. Of the 10 large tower units lifted this time, 4 were lifted using a 4,000-ton crawler crane as the main lifting device, with a 750-ton crawler crane used for assisting with the lift. The remaining 6 towers are lifted using a 1,000-ton crawler crane for the main lifting and a 400-ton crawler crane for the tail lifting. Of the 10 large towers, the two methanol scrubbers are the largest and heaviest, weighing 860 tons each, with a diameter of 4 meters and a height of 93.5 meters.
