Lifting and Installation of the Coke Oven Gas Screw Compressor for Donghua Technology’s Shanxi Meijin Huasheng EGMPC Project / Author/Source: Donghua Technology ECEC / Date: 2020-06-04 / Views: 12 At 10:30 on June 3, fireworks were set off in the coke oven gas purification area at the site of Donghua Technology’s Shanxi Meijin Huasheng EGMPC project; a 150-ton crane lifted the first coke oven gas screw compressor into the air. Overcoming the tall columns of the compressor building, it landed safely at 10:45, marking the official start of the installation work for this project and laying the foundation for the delivery of coke oven gas by September 30. There are a total of 4 screw compressors in the coke oven gas compressor plant; 2 of them have been delivered this time, one in operation and one as a spare. Meanwhile, all the auxiliary equipment for the 4 screw compressors has also been delivered. Under the careful organization of the PMC project management team at Donghua Technology, after two days of intensive inspection upon unboxing, all the equipment was accepted. At the same time, instructions were provided regarding the lifting of the equipment as well as its installation, thus laying a solid foundation for the lifting of the compressors today. By 4 p.m. on June 3, both compressors had been installed, and some auxiliary equipment had also been lifted into place.
