During the discussion, the three parties had in-depth talks and exchanges on working together to advance the preliminary procedures for projects such as coal utilization, coal-to-gas production, and coal-to-oil conversion, with a view to making substantial progress on these integrated projects. Wang Guoquan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhungeer Banner, Li Shuirong, Chairman of Rongsheng Group, and Liu Manshi, Chairman of Manshi Group, attended the discussion meeting. Banner leaders Zhao Shuan, Du Yanbin, Wu Xudong, and Wang Min, as well as the heads of Rongsheng Group, Manshi Group, Zhungeer Economic Development Zone, and relevant departments under the banner’s jurisdiction, were also present. Wang Guoquan emphasized the need to strengthen the role of the task force responsible for project advancement, and to make every effort to handle the preliminary procedures related to projects by providing guidance and facilitating their completion ； It is necessary to strengthen the frequency and intensity of communication among the three parties, and to promote integrated projects in accordance with laws and regulations, while working together to overcome difficulties and obstacles ； It is necessary to plan the relevant procedures in a scientific and rational manner, advance the tasks related to their processing, accurately implement the responsibilities of all three parties as well as various measures, so as to ensure that the preliminary procedures are completed as soon as possible and the project can be put into operation at an early date. The Rongsheng (Ordos) Green Coal Chemical Integration Project explores new pathways for the integrated development of new energy and coal chemistry, aiming to accelerate the transition of coal chemistry toward a \"low-carbon\" and \"zero-carbon\" model. With a total investment of 160 billion yuan, while developing the entire coal chemical industry chain, related facilities such as 2,000 MW of wind and solar power generation capacity, 100,000 m3/h of green hydrogen production capacity, and 450,000 tons per year of green ammonia production capacity will also be built. Once completed, the annual industrial output value is expected to exceed 150 billion yuan. In March 2024, two large-scale coal chemical projects of Zhejiang Rongsheng Holding Group Co., Ltd. were approved and registered in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, marking the official launch of these projects. The registration information shows that the contractor for both projects is Rongsheng Energy Technology (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Rongsheng Holding Group. The projects in question are the “Chemical New Materials Project” and the “Coal-based Butyl Octanol and Acetate Project”; both projects were approved for registration on March 1, 2024.
