On the afternoon of August 15, with the joint efforts of the Engineering Management Department of Xinxiang Ammonia Synthesis Division, the Fourth Branch Company, and the construction team, the pipeline pressure testing for the methanol synthesis section as part of Xinchengxin Chemical’s industrial upgrading project was successfully completed. This pressure test is an important means to assess the quality of pipeline welding and installation, and it serves as a crucial method to ensure the long-term stable and safe operation of the project. To ensure a successful pipeline pressure test, the Engineering Management Department, together with the Fourth Branch Company and the construction unit, reviewed the testing plan on July 14. After two revisions, the testing scopes for the four systems—process gas pipelines, methanol pipelines, pipelines connecting the steam drum, and vent pipelines—were finally determined. Among them, the process gas pipeline is closely connected to various other pipelines, making its pressure testing plan the most complex; a thorough and comprehensive pressure testing plan was developed as a result of careful review by the project team. On July 31, the project team began pressure testing on the first pipeline, continuously refining the testing plan based on actual conditions to ensure the safe conduct of the tests. To save pressure testing time and ensure efficient water supply, the project construction team worked around the clock for two consecutive days to supply water, ensuring there would be enough water for the pressure testing on the following day. Faced with numerous difficulties during the pressure testing phase, the project team did not back down in the face of these challenges; by working together and putting in extra hours, they managed to overcome all obstacles. Finally, the hydraulic testing was successfully completed on the afternoon of August 15, laying the foundation for the subsequent steps of catalyst loading and the introduction of chemical materials.
