On January 13, Xindi Energy Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Xindi Energy Engineering”) and Shanxi Jinxin New Energy Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Jinxin New Energy”) signed an EPC general contract in Langfang, Hebei, for a project aimed at upgrading coking facilities with a capacity of 2.79 million tons per year, and converting the resulting coke oven gas into 250,000 tons of LNG as well as hydrogen energy (via liquid ammonia processing). The value of the contract exceeded 900 million yuan. The 2.79 million tons per year coking upgrading project, along with the associated projects for converting coker gas into LNG and hydrogen, serves as a model project for the transformation and upgrading of the coking industry in Shanxi Province, as well as a supporting project for key initiatives in this field. It has received significant attention and support from the governments at the provincial, municipal, and county levels. Xindi Energy Engineering possesses extensive experience in EPC turnkey services for the comprehensive utilization of coke oven gas. During the preliminary discussions, the team visited the site on multiple occasions, demonstrating a highly efficient and pragmatic approach to service delivery. After a thorough evaluation, the projects offered by Xindi Energy Engineering Services exhibit significant advantages in terms of investment and operational costs, resulting in outstanding economic benefits. It is hoped that both parties will take this project cooperation as an opportunity to uphold a spirit of sincere collaboration, strive to enhance the automation and intelligence levels of the project, and work together to turn it into a model project in Shanxi Province. Project Overview: As a model and key project for the transformation and upgrading of the coking industry in Shanxi Province, this project has a total investment of around 8 billion yuan. The main construction projects include 4 rammed coke ovens with a capacity of 6.73 m each, an LNG plant with a production capacity of 250,000 tons per year, and facilities for the comprehensive utilization of hydrogen energy at a rate of 200 million cubic meters per year (including 120,000 tons of hydrogen produced from liquid ammonia). The project utilizes internationally advanced 6.73-meter coke oven technology, along with a complete system for coal preparation, coking, coke quenching, chemical by-product recovery, and environmental protection. Compared to traditional processes, this technology offers significant advantages in terms of production efficiency, energy utilization, and pollutant emissions. It enables the efficient use of resources and environmentally friendly production practices. Upon completion, the project will provide a strong impetus for the development of the coking industry in Shanxi Province.
