On September 21, the construction of the absorption tower at the #2 Environmental Protection Island in the power generation area was completed; this tower is now connected to the bag filter. To date, the installation of the absorption towers and bag filters for the four environmental protection island units in the ethylene glycol project has been completed, and the project has entered the stage of pipeline and equipment installation, laying a solid foundation for the operation of these environmental protection island units. The environmental protection island was EPC-general contracted by Fujian Longjing Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., designed in accordance with ultra-low emission standards, and installed simultaneously with the boiler. Dust removal is achieved through pre-electrostatic dust removal followed by bag dust removal; denitration is carried out using SNCR (with SCR positions reserved in the boiler), while desulfurization is accomplished via in-furnace desulfurization combined with an external semi-dry method, all in order to meet ultra-low emission standards for the plant’s flue gases.
