It is understood that the designed production capacity of the methanol complex in Yueneng Chemical’s filling and completion project is 1.92 million tons per year; construction of this facility began on September 13, 2018. On December 22, 2020, furnace C of the gasification unit was successfully commissioned with its initial feed ； On December 24, the commissioning test of the converted syngas compression unit was successful on the first attempt ； On December 26, the intake of crude gas was purified, and qualified purified gas was produced successfully in one attempt ； On December 27, the first feeding of the methane steam reformer was successful ； On December 28, the synthesis unit successfully carried out a one-time feeding process, producing qualified MTO-grade methanol.
