Last year, in line with the new requirements regarding safety and environmental protection policies, Quanji Company focused on carrying out projects such as the sealing of coal storage pits, the recovery of urea dust, the construction of new slag disposal sites, upgrades to boilers to achieve ultra-low emissions, treatment of VOCs in wastewater systems, and the reuse of reclaimed water. Among these projects, those related to VOC treatment in wastewater systems and the recovery of urea dust have been completed and put into operation, achieving the desired results. Recently, in the face of an increasingly urgent situation regarding safety and environmental protection, the company has taken proactive steps to accelerate the development of environmental protection projects. To ensure the achievement of the set goals of completing the upgrades to reduce boiler emissions to extremely low levels and the closure of the coal storage area by September 30, the company took proactive measures; it issued official documents to form a project team, with Zhao Yongqing, the company’s manager, serving as the project director. Additionally, various implementation teams were established to oversee all aspects of the project, from preliminary planning to matters related to safety, quality, schedule, and budget. Leaders at all levels of the company have visited the site on multiple occasions to ensure that the project progresses safely, efficiently, and in a scientific and orderly manner. To date, the earthwork for the civil foundation of the company’s boiler ultra-low emission retrofit project has been completed, and welding of the main structure of the desulfurization tower has begun. The fabrication of the foundation rebar for the coal storage pit sealing project has begun.
