Kabang and Xinlianxin sign another contract for a new ultra-low energy consumption plant Author/Source: Stamicabang Date: 2021-02-04 Clicks: 22 Stamicabang and Henan Xinlianxin have signed a contract for the technical licensing and supply of high-pressure equipment for a second set of ultra-low energy consumption (commonly known as 5XX) urea production plants. The two parties signed the contract via video conference recently. This is the first urea technology licensing contract signed by Cabang to be remotely executed via video conference. This ultra-low energy consumption urea plant is designed in the same way as the plant operated by Xinlianxin in Jiujiang (with commissioning scheduled for February 2021), having a production capacity of 2,334 tons per day; it is also planned to come online at the beginning of 2023. This new project is the third collaboration between Cabang and Xinlianxin in less than 5 years. The first cooperation project between the two parties was the retrofit project for adiabatic flash evaporation, signed in 2016; this project enabled the customer’s urea plant to **reduce energy consumption and lower operating costs. The two parties’ second collaboration was the new urea production plant using an ultra-low energy consumption process, signed in 2017.
