On March 22, the kick-off meeting for Jiutai Group’s 10,000-ton-per-year industrial pilot project for converting carbon dioxide into aromatics was held at Chengda Company. Cui Lianguo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the group, Gan Kejian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Chengda Engineering Co., Ltd., Wei Fei, a professor at Tsinghua University, and all members of the tripartite project team attended the meeting. The 10,000-ton-per-year industrial pilot project for converting carbon dioxide into aromatics was developed, designed, and constructed by Inner Mongolia Jutai Group, China Chengda, and Tsinghua University; it is the world’s first facility of its kind for converting carbon dioxide into aromatics. Cui Lianguo expressed his gratitude to Cheng Da for its long-term support of Jiu Tai ； Special recognition and praise were given to Chengda for its attitude towards work and the results achieved in Jiu Tai’s industrial chain planning and industrial testing projects. In the future, Jutai will continue to develop in areas such as renewable energy, carbon-based chemicals, organic chemicals, and new materials. We are confident about the prospects for continuing comprehensive cooperation with Chengda in the future. Gan Kejian pointed out that the tripartite cooperation on Jiutai’s 10,000-ton-per-year industrial pilot project for producing aromatics from carbon dioxide has opened a new chapter in innovative development.
