The \"Operation and Maintenance Manual for Equipment in the Pyrolysis Phase of the Demonstration Project for Clean and Efficient Conversion of Coal at a Rate of 15 Million Tons per Year\" has been compiled. In order to ensure the stable operation of the equipment during production and to prevent equipment failures and accidents, on October 30, the Project Team 120 completed the compilation of the aforementioned manual (hereinafter referred to as the \"Manual\"). During the preparation of the Manual, to ensure its quality, the project team strengthened organizational leadership by forming a drafting team composed of professional technicians and skilled production operators. Using equipment manuals, technical agreements, process flow diagrams, and relevant standards, along with their own work experience, they spent 2 months on drafting, refining, improving, discussing, and finalizing the Manual. The Manual is composed of four sections. Based on the characteristics of the equipment used in pyrolysis start-up projects, these sections are respectively the \"Operation and Maintenance Manual for Pulverized Coal Pyrolysis Equipment,\" the \"Operation and Maintenance Manual for Hydrogen Supply, Solvent, and Light Oil Combined Hydrogenation Equipment,\" the \"Operation and Maintenance Manual for Suspended Bed Hydrogenation Equipment,\" and the \"Operation and Maintenance Manual for Gas Desulfurization Combined Equipment.\" It covers aspects such as an overview of the equipment, scope of application, equipment information, performance parameters, interlock criteria, start-up and shutdown procedures, inspection standards, maintenance standards, as well as common faults and their solutions. It addresses the operation and maintenance of 87 types of equipment used in various devices within pyrolysis start-up projects, totaling over 600 pages. The Manual is highly targeted, practical, and easy to use; it provides comprehensive guidance for operators, laying a solid foundation for the standardization and regularization of equipment operation, inspection, and maintenance. It offers strong support for ensuring the company’s stable production, extending the service life of equipment, reducing the rate of equipment repairs and maintenance, and controlling the costs associated with equipment operation and maintenance. Next, the project team will use this manual as a training material to organize production preparation staff to thoroughly learn the knowledge related to the equipment, ensuring that everyone has a thorough understanding of the equipment and the skills necessary to operate it, thus laying a solid foundation for the smooth commissioning of the facility.
