On November 9th, the first batch of hydrogen-powered vehicles manufactured in Changzhi was revealed to the public. These hydrogen-powered vehicles were primarily developed by Zhongji Hydrogen Vehicles (Changzhi) Co., Ltd., a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the research and development of hydrogen-powered vehicles as well as intelligent manufacturing; to the research, development, and application of hydrogen fuel cell technologies; and to the research, development of hydrogen-related technologies and equipment as well as industry incubation. It was established with joint funding from Wuhan Grove Hydrogen Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Changgao Zhihang Technology Group Co., Ltd. It mainly produces hydrogen-powered heavy trucks, specialized vehicles, high-end logistics vehicles, and hydrogen fuel engines. Currently, it possesses complete production processes for manufacturing, assembling, painting, testing, and hydrogen refueling of components for hydrogen-powered specialized vehicles. “When hydrogen, the lightest element in the world, enters our lives as a fuel, it begins to change them right away. ”At the event, Zhao Binlu, Deputy Director of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, introduced to everyone the process and relevant details regarding the implementation and development of the hydrogen energy vehicle project in our city. In October 2020, our city signed a series of cooperation agreements with Wuhan Grove Company to launch a collaborative project focused on hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. This project is a key initiative for innovation and development in the high-tech zone; it also plays an important role in promoting the development of innovative energy sources in Changzhi, facilitating project transformation, and helping to achieve the \"dual carbon\" goals at an earlier date. To date, our city has successfully developed 10 main vehicle models, including compressed waste trucks powered by hydrogen fuel cells and heavy trucks powered by hydrogen fuel cells, achieving an annual production capacity of 500 hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles. In the future, Zhongji Hydrogen Energy Vehicles (Changzhi) Co., Ltd. will make further efforts to develop zero-emission vehicles through green manufacturing, establish a technology center of international standards, and enhance its technological innovation capabilities in the field of new energy vehicles. It aims to contribute to the development of the hydrogen energy industry, improve its innovation and research capabilities as a whole, and give the hydrogen energy sector a distinct \"Changzhi style\".
