The 1.3 million tons per year coking expansion project and the 200,000 tons per year methanol production project using coke oven gas at Zhongtai Coal Coking were completed and passed the acceptance inspection. On December 20, in accordance with the project construction procedures and relevant requirements, Zhongtai Coal Coking invited an acceptance expert team to conduct inspections of the 1.3 million tons per year coking expansion project and the 200,000 tons per year methanol production project using coke oven gas. Leaders from the relevant departments in Baicheng County, along with Yu Qian, deputy general manager of Henan Energy Xinjiang Company, attended the project completion inspection. The attendees listened to reports on the 1.3 million tons per year coking expansion project and the 200,000 tons per year methanol production project using coke oven gas. The general contractor, the construction company, and the supervision agency each presented information on the project design and on-site construction, and the supervision agency also presented its assessment report. Subsequently, the expert group was divided into seven inspection teams based on their specialties to conduct on-site inspections and verifications. At the held acceptance summary meeting, experts expressed their opinions on the acceptance process. The members of the acceptance committee and the expert group signed the acceptance certificate, and the expert group unanimously agreed that the Zotai Coal Coking 1.3 million tons/year coking expansion project and the 200,000 tons/year coal gas to methanol conversion project had passed the acceptance inspection. At the meeting, Yu Qian read out the acceptance conclusion and delivered a statement. He noted that after 8 years of a difficult and tortuous development process, the project has finally come to a successful conclusion, and he expressed his gratitude to all those who were involved in the project as well as to the staff members for their hard work. He emphasized that, in response to the suggestions and recommendations put forward by the expert group, corrective plans and measures should be formulated promptly and implemented without delay. Looking to the future, we will continue to focus on resource conversion and expanding the industrial chain. We will advance in an orderly manner the projects for 1.5 million tons per year of coal coking, 200,000 tons per year of ethylene glycol, and 200,000 tons per year of 1,4-butanediol, thereby further promoting the upgrading of the industrial structure and enhancing the core competitiveness of the enterprise.
