The operational lifespan of the alkyneation and hydrogenation catalysts, as well as the amount of BDO produced per batch, show signs of reaching new heights, which indicates that the operation of this BDO plant is now on par with industry standards. With systematic thinking, production operations reach a new level. BDO is a systematic production facility that integrates processes such as raw material receipt and storage, production, product storage and dispatch, as well as wastewater treatment. It involves numerous processes and complex technologies, makes use of many catalysts, and requires high levels of precision; any issue in any of these stages can become a bottleneck for the entire system. Through deep integration, a new model for equipment management has been established. For a long time, the BDO plants have faced issues with inadequate equipment management and a weak foundation, which have severely impacted the stable operation of the system under high loads. In recent months, with the strong emphasis placed by the company’s leadership and the generous support of various departments and affiliated units, a management model featuring \"deep integration\" of production with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation functions has been piloted at the BDO plant. In this approach, there is no distinction between a production plant and an electrical/instrumentation or maintenance plant within the BDO facility; instead, there is only a separation between production functions and equipment-related tasks. The production team is responsible for organizing production and ensuring operational maintenance, while the equipment team is in charge of equipment inspection, repair, and handling requests for necessary materials. This clear division of responsibilities helps to overcome the problems associated with inadequate equipment management and insufficient spare parts in the past ； At the same time, managers from different specialties work together in the same location, allowing them to communicate face-to-face at any time. When on-site equipment needs to be repaired, the chemical process supervisor simply sends a message in the WeChat group; for the maintenance and repair of electrical and instrumentation equipment, personnel in the chemical processing role can use walkie-talkies to call the electrical and instrumentation staff. This close integration of management facilitates seamless coordination among different specialties, significantly improving the efficiency of maintenance work. It lays a solid foundation for enhancing the management level of plant equipment and ensuring high and stable production levels.
