In many sources, it is stated that during the increase in thermostatic salt concentration, it is necessary to keep this concentration from becoming too high. The control mentioned here mainly refers to methods such as adding defoamers, increasing filtration, or performing resin exchange for removal
Adding defoamers cannot solve the problem of thermally stable salts. To eliminate thermally stable salts, it is best to install an amine solution purification system. Thermally stable salts should generally not exceed 1%, otherwise it will lead to issues such as increased corrosion in the system.
How to keep the thermostatic salt content at no more than 1%?
With the previous amine solution purification system, as long as it operates properly, it is possible to keep the heat-stable salt level below 1%.
At first, due to the high content of heat-stable salts, a large amount of resin will be required; the P equipment is too expensive, and it’s not possible to afford the resin :(
However, considering the losses caused by the impact of thermally stable salts on the system, it is still worth spending this money.
