This approach enables annual savings of over 900,000 yuan. From the preparation of the technical renovation plan to the completion of the project renovation, it took only three days and two nights in total. After the project was put into operation, noise levels were reduced, environmental protection was improved, and water usage was conserved – achieving three benefits at once. By recovering the 2.0 MPa steam generated as a by-product in the secondary transformation unit’s No. 2 medium-pressure steam generator, 900,000 yuan in costs can be saved annually. This set of cases has now been successfully replicated in the first-phase conversion unit, which is recovering 0.5MPa steam. This project is expected to generate annual profits of 1.6 million yuan! Since the beginning of this year, the company has completed 435 self-driven lean improvement projects in the first quarter, generating a total value of over 5 million yuan.
