Meeting held to assess the gasifier construction project in Tianze Group’s Bagong Park Area / Author/Source: Huahua Network Coal Chemicals / Date: 2022-04-30 / Clicks: 10 Recently, the Development and Reform Commission of Jincheng City in Shanxi Province organized a meeting to evaluate the necessity and feasibility of the gasifier construction project in Tianze Group’s Bagong Park Area, as well as the safety and environmental improvement projects for Yongfeng Company and the chemical plant. At the presentation session, the person in charge of the project construction units explained the necessity and feasibility of these two projects. They conducted a thorough analysis of the impact of these projects on our city’s efforts to control energy consumption and carbon emissions, as well as on the high-quality development of industries and environmental quality. They also provided a detailed assessment of requirements related to project capacity, coal consumption, and the need to reduce energy use or replace it with alternative sources; furthermore, they addressed issues related to reducing pollutant emissions in specific areas. Lastly, they gave a detailed explanation regarding whether the energy efficiency levels of the main products produced by these projects could meet the advanced standards set by the industry or those recognized internationally. The heads of the relevant functional departments and experts present conducted a collective discussion and analysis of the projects. As a result, the expert group unanimously agreed that the implementation plans for both projects, along with the feasibility studies, were well-founded; they were comprehensive in content, well-structured, clearly organized, highly instructive, and suited to local conditions. Therefore, they deemed the projects feasible, approved them after review, and provided suggestions for improvement. The Municipal Development and Reform Commission will urge the project constructors to further revise and improve the plans in accordance with the suggestions put forward by the experts, striving to complete on a high quality the gasification furnace construction project at the Bagong Park of Tianze Group, as well as the safety and environmental protection upgrade projects for Yongfeng Company and the chemical plant. The gasification upgrade project in Bagong Park is expected to require a total investment of 4.468 billion yuan. The project utilizes advanced, mature, and reliable syngas production technologies; high-sulfur coal is used as the feedstock for gasification. The expected output of useful gases from gasification (CO + H2) is 244,000 Nm3/h, and two GSP gasifiers are employed for this process ； The air separation unit is equipped with 2 series to supply oxygen to the gasification plant ； The transformation uses a series 1 temperature-controlled transformation method, with 2 transformation furnaces ； The low-temperature methanol washing unit is configured as a single series with 2 absorption towers, sharing a regeneration system ； There are 2 series for gas purification, 1 series for refrigeration, and 1 series for sulfur recovery units. The industrial gases and sulfuric acid produced by the project are supplied to downstream companies affiliated with the group within the park for use. The project plans to adopt the EPC turnkey contract model, with third-party investment being brought in for the air separation unit, using a BOO (Build-Own-Operate) construction approach.
