The complete set of technical process packages provided by Qingdao Maiteda New Materials Co., Ltd. has successfully passed the review, marking substantial progress in the project’s implementation and creating favorable conditions for the next phase of work; this is a milestone achievement. Representatives from Yanzhou Coal Industry Yulin Energy Chemical Co., Ltd., Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., and Qingdao Maiteda New Materials Co., Ltd. attended the meeting. The experts present listened to a detailed presentation by Qingdao Maiteda New Materials Co., Ltd. on aspects such as the design philosophy of the process package, the configuration of key processes, the technical solutions, equipment layout, as well as safety and environmental protection measures. They then reviewed the documents related to the process package, discussed its contents in detail, and provided valuable opinions and suggestions. The experts present agreed that the design philosophy of the process package – characterized by \"safety standards, reliability, and appropriate flexibility\" – meets the requirements of the contract; its content and depth satisfy the relevant standard specifications. The process package is comprehensive and detailed, with reasonable process flow arrangements and equipment design. Upon addressing the supplementary review comments, it can be used as a basis for carrying out the preliminary design. At the meeting, the three parties also held preliminary discussions on the preliminary basic design work, such as the overall plant layout designed by Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. and the optimized equipment arrangement, and formulated suggestions. The successful completion of the process package review has laid the foundation for project implementation, marking the transition of the project’s DMMn unit from the technical design phase to the engineering design phase. The Yanzhou Coal Industry Yulin Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. project, which has an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons of coal-based dimethyl methoxymethane (DMMn), involves an investment of 4.56 billion yuan and covers an area of 55.3 hectares. It is a key project undertaken by Yankuang Group in response to Yulin City’s efforts to develop a high-end energy and chemical industry base, with a focus on industrial development that is organized in parks, characterized by precision, and aimed at achieving high levels of sophistication. This project holds great strategic significance for optimizing the industrial structures of both Yankuang Group and Yulin City. The project involves the production of polydimethyl methoxide from coal through methanol. The DMMn facility utilizes patented technology from Qingdao Maiteda New Materials Co., Ltd. The construction is carried out in two phases: the first phase involves building a plant with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons, and Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. is responsible for the EPC general contracting of this project.
