As winter arrives, temperatures in Xinjiang drop sharply. All the builders of the Xinjiang Energy and Chemicals Zhundong Coal Chemical Integration Project are working with determination and urgency to meet the annual construction goals. Yankuang Qinen No. 4 open-pit mine is aiming to produce 6 million tons of coal by the end of the year; it is coordinating the completion of related projects, joint commissioning, optimization of the mining areas, as well as transportation and sales, while accelerating the construction of coal transport corridors. The Xinjiang Shanneng Chemicals project, which aims to produce 800,000 tons of olefins per year, is accelerating the revision of its basic design. Bidding processes for the procurement of long-term-use equipment and for overall project management are being carried out in a timely manner, and infrastructure construction is being sped up. The goal is to complete the construction of the administrative building, staff cafeteria, as well as the masonry and secondary structures of the Skyworth operation center by the end of the year. Accelerate the approval process for land use in railway dedicated line projects, and determine the land use boundaries as soon as possible. Related link: The total investment in this project is 33.8 billion yuan. It is being constructed by Shandong Energy Group Yankuang Xinjiang Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. The construction includes four sub-projects: a coal-to-olefins plant with an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons; the first phase of Project No. 4 for the Wucaiwan mining area, with an annual production capacity of 23 million tons; a dedicated railway line for the Zhundong coal chemical integration project operated by Shandong Energy Group Yankuang Xinjiang Energy Chemical Co., Ltd.; and a living facility for the same integration project. The project started in February this year.
