The outlet temperature of the steam generator is 350 degrees, which results in an outlet temperature of over 370 degrees at the medium-pressure stage; the shut-off valve is set to its minimum position, yet the temperature still doesn’t drop.
Reasons for the excessively high inlet temperature of the medium-pressure section: 1. Excessively high outlet temperature of the conversion unit; 2. Scaling in the steam generator tubes; 3. Eccentricity of the plug valve stem or cracking of the stem; 4. Excessive load on the plant or an overly high carbon-to-water ratio in the conversion water; 5. Excessively high control pressure of the medium-pressure steam
Is the conversion outlet temperature too high? It’s very likely there’s a problem with the stop valve; try switching to manual mode on site
