What is the maximum allowable sulfur content required for the feed gas used in dry gas hydrogen production? I require it to be no higher than 20PPm
Generally, the concentration of the raw material is above 20 ppm. This is the value taken into account in the design; it is sufficient as long as the concentration at the outlet of the desulfurization tank does not exceed 1 ppm. If the raw material has a high sulfur content, the desulfurization tank will quickly reach its saturation capacity, requiring the catalyst to be replaced!
Here, the threshold is 50 ppm or less
Here, we used to require it not to exceed 3%, but in practice it usually exceeds that limit.
