What should be the sulfur content of catalytic dry gas as a raw material for hydrogen production facilities? Why?
Catalytic units generally keep the sulfur content in dry gas below 20PPM; high sulfur levels can cause equipment corrosion, and the flue gases from heaters that use dry gas also do not meet the required standards
The design value is generally 20 ppm; if it is too high, it can easily cause penetration of the desulfurization tank and contaminate the conversion catalyst!
