Dear masters, the instantaneous (5-second) Y-direction vibration value of the new hydrogen compressor was extremely high, which caused a cascade shutdown. After checking the instruments, no issues were found; upon restarting, the unit operated normally. What’s the situation? How to check and handle it?
Check whether the communication line is not properly shielded, which could lead to external signal interference (such as signals from walkie-talkies or magnets).
The vibration detection has a high degree of reliability, and it can be considered that it actually occurred. Adjust the monitoring to rule out human interference; the issue may lie with the probe cable.
Check whether there are any debris in the probe and piston cylinder, and whether the probe is in the correct position; we have encountered similar problems before

Our compressor also experienced an issue once: due to damage to the screen in the inlet separator, debris from the screen ended up in the gas, which caused an increase in the vibration levels of the unit and led to its shutdown
A damaged imported filter element usually damages the valve disc, leading to an increase in exhaust temperature. It’s unlikely that this is causing fluctuations in the compressor’s vibration levels
The wire mesh demister is damaged; the wire diameter is very small
