After the adsorbent adsorbs liquid water and liquid hydrocarbons, one consequence is a decrease in catalyst strength, and the other is that catalyst regeneration becomes difficult. As for gaseous water vapor, it is difficult to find at the PSA inlet, mainly because the gas contains saturated water.
