The instrument suddenly shows a disconnected connection

During normal operation, the instrument suddenly indicated a disconnected connection; at that time, insulation workers were working on site and stepped on the instrument wires, which caused the instrument to malfunction and show a disconnected status.
This should be a fact; I’ve also seen insulation workers step on manual valves while working, which changes the state of those valves and leads to system instability
I’ve encountered this before: work was being done by stepping on the wiring ducts in the instrument panel, the support broke, and as a result the wires of the thermocouples were pulled apart. There was also the issue related to insulation work; the handle of the control valve’s air line got in the way, so it was shut off directly. Fortunately, it wasn’t a cut-off valve. The operator on duty noticed this early and used a walkie-talkie to ask the operator outside to check things out. It was found that the insulation had been repaired without proper authorization, there was no supervisor present at the site, and the process pipelines were being tampered with arbitrarily.
